Day 19 Amalfi Coast

Amalfi is not unlike Positano from the ferry, but once on land has a different feel. In fact, Positano, Amalfi and Capri are same same but different! So we wandered and took in the town for a couple of hours then made our way back to Positano. Positano is excitement central as tonight is the 26th annual Festa Del Pesce! And better, it is happening on our beach!

The Fish Festival is all about fish cooked all manners, the beach and music!

We read in our travel guide the history of this magnificent place. Palermo fell first to the Romans, then Arabs , who chose this for their capital. It's so evident the rich history of this powerful city. The city ruins tell the tale of 8th - 15th century palaces and monumental buildings.
